| I believe this would be the last gathering with HC peers and Prof. Udani in this semester, very soon this semester will come to an end and I really missed it a lot. Our last gathering is at Star World, a place which I have got into before... I felt vey exciting because we, the HC peers can gather together again and this was really a precious chance. I think I am still too dependent on my friends. How should I suppose to live with all of you~! I can't imagine how I would become when I am in America. Don't forget to find me for a trip around America! 
Aside from having the lunch buffet, we have some games and ..........also celebrating the 20-year old birthday with Vicky. Happy birthday to Vicky and wish you all the best~!

| Time really flies. This is already the last lecture of the course HONR202, I really missed this course a lot. Very soon, all of us will be busy preparing for our TOEFL, dealing with matters of credit transfer. We will not have so much time to meet with each other, and play games together. This last lecture reminds me about to treasure what I possess now. In this lecture, Prof. Udani, as usual, shared with us a song called "Don't give up on us". This is different from the "Don't give up" that we have listened before. This song delivers that message that we should not give up easily. Give up is not the only solution when facing challenges. We should be brave enough to try and gain from each experience. Next, Prof. Udani gave awards to ten of our classmates for their progress in this course. And the ten of them are as follow: Focus Award - Awarded to the winners of the Pik Pak Boom Memory Award - Awarded to Michelle, the best photographer 
Mr.Fun Award - Awarded to Jackon, who always give us fun and happiness 
Mr. Motivator Award - Awarded to Steve, who motivate his peers 
Mr. Participation Award - Awarded to James, who put much efforts in organizing activities and leading us to join different meaningful activities 
Mr. & Ms. Change Award - Awarded to Albert Zhang & Polly, who have changed a lot in HC.  
Ms. Friendly Award - Awarded to Vicky, who is always friendly to her classmates 
Ms. Generosity Award - Awarded to Echo, who is always generous in baking cakes for us 
Ms. Smile Award - Awarded to Helen, who always smile wherever she goes 
Congratulations to all of them, after this course, I have learnt a lot of theories, not only theories in the book, but also some life theories. I can see that all of us are changing, changing into a more well-developed person. With the support and encouragement from HC classmates, it gives me power to face different obstacles. We are all like family members and sharing our happiness and sadness with one another. Through this course, I get a much better understanding of my HC peers. They are all very nice and talented. I learned a lot from them and they are all very willing to help. After giving the awards, we have to write another notes. Previously, we have written "Thank you note" and "Encouraging note", this time, we have to write "Sorry Note" to our peers. This provides me a good change to say sorry to my peers for what I have not done well. I really have to thank Prof. Udani for offering us this chance to do something which we may never do in present. And I am also surprised to have received some sorry note from my classmates, for something that I really don't think it's an important matter. Very soon, we have all having our examinations and in my knowledge, the four FLL classmates have already started their examinations. | Today really have an exciting lecture, but before our lecture, we had an Introduction talk by Prof. Mok for year one potential students. During this talk, besides deepen my understanding of HC, the sharing of the President and Vice-Presidents of HCSA organizing committee also inspired me a lot. It made me recall the memories from the time I enter HC. Without this chance, I would not be able to make friends with diligent classmates from different faculties and got many chances to meet with leaders from different areas. I am looking forward to seeing our next HC students, that is the Class 2013, and share our experiences with them.   
First, we have a sharing from the four HC classmates of FLL who have their second coaching session. I think that they have really put many efforts in HC. Although they are very busy with the work in their home unit, they still devote a lot of their time in HC and I really appreciate their heart.    
Second, Prof. Udani presented the best ten bloggers who are Rocky, Christine, Polly, Alvin, Megka, Vicky, Cathy, James, Jackon and I. I was really surprised that I can be listed as one of the top ten bloggers, as I admit that sometimes I did not update my blog so regularly and frequently.        
Next, Prof. Udani gave us a brief lecture about his Interpersonal Skills Development Workshop. He introduced that only human beings have an Intellect, to seek for the Truth. We have to change our role from being influenced to influencing others. We have to link up with others around us. People who are self-centered are the most depressed one. We should add value to others, giving others positive influence and communicate with them more often to understand them better in order to build a wide social network. After this brief lecture, we played a game called "Pik Pak Boom", this is quite an interesting and exciting game. We grouped with the classmates whom we seldom talked to. This game really demanded our full attention, cooperation and communication. Although our group has lost, we really enjoyed the process and learnt a lot from it. 
This is the second last lecture of HONR202, I missed the class very much and are looking forward to the last class of this course! | | |

CAN Leadership Workshop was successful held.  
The ice-breaking game is really funny and exciting, I can see that they enjoy a lot! 
The thoery and video part also impressed me a lot and Betty has used a creative way to bring out her message. I appreciated the effort every of us had devoted and this is really a precious memory as we may not have many chances to hold a workshop like this. I can experience the importance of teamwork and cooperation. Without the cooperation from our group, this workshop would not be held successfully. Besides, this is the first time for me to be a facilitator, and it is really a great experience. When I communicate with my group members, I feel that they are just similar to what I was in Year 1. A Year 1 student who know not much about HC, but have the heart to be an HC. I can see that they all have the heart to join HC and be a member of it. They are very active and creative and cooperate well with us, which is also why our workshop can be held successfully.  
I can see that every of us are changing. after this workshop, I feel that we are more united, working for the same goal. Next time, hope that I can have a chance to work with members from the "IF" Group so that we can get to understand each other more. Also, I would like to congratulate IF Group for their successful workshop and thank for their support by attending our workshop, and even stay from the beginning till the end, I really want to apologise for not being able to attend their IF workshop because of a fever. Support and encouragement from others are a great motivation for us to persist and work harder! | | |
| Before our lecture today, we have a lunch with Prof. Udani, we have had a nice talk about different areas. Not long after our lunch, our HC Class started. Today, our topic is about isolation. In my point of view, isolation refers to those who are self-centered, not joining any social activities and not sharing things with others. Being isolated cannot be controlled but isolate oneself can be. Without friends, it’s hard for us to survive in today’s society. “No man is an island” is describing the same kind of things. No one can accomplish a difficult task by himself, thus building a wide communication network will help in all aspects of our life. Last time we have written an encouraging letter to only one person. This time, we are allowed to write to more than one, not an encouraging letter but a Thank You Letter. I have written to several people, thanks them for various different things, especially Betty and Polly… I thank you because Betty for her participation in the fencing competition which take place on 30 Apr to 2 May. Since I understood that she is very busy with her study and her debate team, I am really surprise that she is willing to go. I can feel that I am not lonely and have a companion. Besides, I have also thanked Polly, for always accompany me for different kinds of activities, assisting me in my study and share my happiness and sadness. Aside from thanking people, I also received several thank you letters from different persons. When I read them, I realized that what they thank me is a simple help in our daily life which I have never expected to receive any thanks, especially recently we (Polly, Esther and I) were informed that Tai Fung Bank want to praise us for picking the MOP500.00, I think not getting others thing without permission is a virtue and is also a message emphasize by our parents when we grow up, thus the three of us never expected to receive any reward from this event. 
The next part of our lecture required us to work in a team to build a tower and put a marshmallow on top of it. Although we have done similar things in the Retreat at Macau Tower, this time the materials are different and our teammates are also different. Our group cooperate well and have specialized ourselves to different jobs so that the tower can be built more efficiently. This activity brought up the message that every time when we are doing something as a group, we should think before we act, planning and the foundation of everything are very vital in doing every project or every work.   
After this activity, we celebrated Albert's Birthday, and we have Steve and Rocky to lead us sing the song for Albert. I think it's really warm to receie so many blessings from all of the classmates.  
This lecture passed very fast with enjoyment and involvement. Every one of us is putting our greatest effort in doing the activity and the whole lecture was very interesting. One last thing is that I really want to thank Echo for making so many delicious cakes for us. She really put a lot of effort and her heart into it! | | |
